FILLI PONTE

RATING: A-

LOCATION: 39 Debrosses St. New York, NY

CATEGORY: Italian

PRICING: During Restaurant Week "affordable", otherwise, entrees range $20-$40

FAVORITES: Angry Lobster

COMMENTS: Classic Italian restaurant with a view of the Hudson River.

I was excited going here because of hearing about the famous "Angry Lobster," which usually costs $30 per pound, but during NYC Restaurant Week, I got to choose from an affordable pre-fixe menu for a total of $35. The buttery lobster was succulent and infused with garlic, basil, and red pepper flakes. Yum!

The bartenders and the wait staff were very kind and attentive. I arrived early and met my friend at the bar. The bartender let us sample most of the red wines on the menu before making a choice. Our 4-man wait staff were very kind and patient. I recommend this place for a romantic date or large groups. It was a great experience!
