FAVORITES: Short rib tamales, crispy spring rolls, and raw oysters
COMMENTS: Pawn shop from the outside, but enter through a secret door and you have found a huge immaculate dimly-lit restaurant. The small plates are served very small (in items of two or three) so if you have a group of four or more, make sure to order extras. Of the six items ordered for our group of four, one lacked flavor. Service was excellent!
In case you have a small bladder, don't be ashamed for you have an excuse...Beauty and Essex offers complimentary champagne from a bar in the restroom.
