Comments:
First of all, they don’t take reservations, so if you come here on the weekend during peak dinner time then prepare to wait, but it’s worth every second. You can grab a drink at the bar while waiting or go somewhere else because their beepers get some great distance. We were able to walk over to Mi Cocina for margaritas and the beeper buzzed from over there. Also come here very hungry or with a big group because the portions are gi-normous. Pretty much everything is meant for sharing with at least 4 people, so if you just bring your significant other then expect to have a plethora of leftovers, and don’t forget them because pizza is so good the next day. Before the pizza, I suggest ordering a salad and we usually choose the Fireside Cheese because it’s so freaking amazing! If you are watching your waist line…..well just have a few bites because it’s not calorie friendly. It’s basically chopped romaine tossed with four cheeses and a creamy Roasted Red pepper Ranch house dressing, which I’ve tried to get the recipe for, but they won’t give it to me….boo! Also, if they ask you for the tomatoes…get them. It’s worth it. Another great salad is their Caesar and get the anchovies because I’ll eat them even if I’m not there! I’m not really a big fan of ordering Bruschetta before having pizza because it’s basically a different version of pizza, but it’s really is good…I just never order it. Now on to the pizza. My absolute favorite is the Balsamic Roasted Chicken because I’m obsessed with Blue Cheese and I love the combination with their so freakin’ good tomato sauce, four cheese blend, the amazing chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, and fresh spinach. Yes, it’s a bit of a salad on top, but I love it!! Oh…I forgot the absolute best part…the crispy, chewy, lovely crust, which I always save for last and I’ll steal anyone’s who has left theirs on the plate. Watch out..I’m a crust thief! Some other good pizzas to order, especially for meat and cheese lovers are the Hot and Crumbled, which is topped with juicy Italian sausage and some ricotta, and then the Triple Roni because of the genius who thought to add the drizzle of truffle oil. I’ve never had a bad pizza there or anything for that matter. I’m not saying it’s the absolute best pizza in town because I still have many avenues to go down, but it’s my preferred Go To place for gourmet pies!
